Sanctum Soho Hotel London — An Alluring Haven of Hedonism

Making the most of its quiet position, just off Regent Street, Sanctum Soho Hotel is within easy reach of the best that London has to offer — minutes from the shops of Regent, Bond and Oxford Streets, the theatres of the West End, and the desirable haunts of Soho and Mayfair.

A celebration of edgy glamour and individuality, Sanctum Soho Hotel pays homage to Soho’s history as a hubbub of artistic and bohemian life. From the underground cinema to the destination restaurant, No.20, and roof-top garden with its 24-hour bar and al fresco hydro spa, your every indulgence is catered to. The beautiful interior design, courtesy of Lesley Purcell at Can Do, is perfectly complemented by ever-changing artwork from London-based artist, Xavier Pick.

In-room facilities have been carefully considered with the modern urbanite in mind, and include REN amenities, Wii consoles and Wii Fit, Guitar Hero in Suites, iPod docking stations and state-of-the-art entertainment systems alongside much, much, more.

To ensure the most comfortable of stays, an array of contemporary features include REN amenities, state of the art entertainment systems with iPod docking stations, Wii consoles, Flat-screen LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi access, high-speed wireless Internet access, air conditioning and a selected range of SKY channels and movies, fully-stocked Mini-bar, King or Circular Beds, and Sanctum’s Box of Tricks.

Decadent in design, the 4th-floor loft has a Parisian feel with glass beaded wallpaper against liquid silver tiles and a sublime chaise longue. The open plan layout incorporates sleeping and seating areas whilst freestanding baths on a bed of glowing pebbles provide an avant-garde and luxurious focal point. A separate shower room, state-of-the-art entertainment system and large windows complete the accommodation. Two sumptuous open plan 5th-floor garden loft suites are both individually designed. Unique dark gold precious metals adorn one of the suites whilst an exquisite bronze metal colour scheme encompasses the other. Dining at No.20 RESTAURANT

Located on the ground floor of Sanctum Soho Hotel, No.20 is a destination in its own right. This 60-cover restaurant serves a modern British menu courtesy of Head Chef Noel Capp, with menus changing seasonally.

Lesley Purcell of Can Do has created a stunning room with lashings of vintage glamour. Classical lines, oak floors and glowing pink columns clad in glass rods compliment timber veneer tables, bronze gold leather banquettes and Altfield gold-rose wall coverings.

The stunning bar is an ideal place to relax after work, catch up with friends or enjoy a few cocktails before dinner. No.20’s comprehensive wine list has been carefully chosen to compliment and enhance the menu.

Sanctum Soho’s Roof Garden

The sleek roof garden and residents’ bar with its own alfresco hydro spa is the place to see and be seen. The lounge bar is intimate and cosy, tucked away on the 5th-floor of Sanctum Soho Hotel. Open 24-hours a day, seven days a week, it is the ideal place to relax and unwind at any time of the day or night — start the day with coffee and newspapers, enjoy an aperitif at dusk or have one last drink before bed after a night out on the town.

The wall-to-wall glass doors open fully onto the roof garden, bringing the outside in and making the beautiful garden an extension of the lounge bar during the summer months. The alfresco Hydro-Spa is a rare find in a central London hotel and overlooks the garden from its elevated position.

With two separate seating areas that cater for the sun worshipper and those who prefer the shade alike, the garden is a tranquil roof-top haven, filled with luxurious seating and beautiful plants - perfect for whiling away the hours with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

For those who smoke, it is one of the last great sanctuaries in London — not unlike the hotel itself.
